Air Supply at Epcot Eat to the Beat

Air Supply at Eat to the Beat during the 2013 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

On October 4, 2013, I went to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival hoping to catch the Go-Go's.  To my surprise, I totally mixed up the days and ended up missing them.  Instead, the act performing at Epcot Eat to the Beat that day was the 80's duo Air Supply.  I got to the theater late so all the seats were taken.  However, I saw that the cast members allowed people to sit along the side ledges that were on the sides of the walkway to the seats.  The view was good from the ledges, so I decided to sit there.

I was able to catch the tail end of their first song that they performed, "Even The Nights Are Better".  I took a video of it using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

The crowd was really into Air Supply, singing along with the lead singer.  They sounded great live.  I didn't miss much because they had a lot of other songs left to perform.

The next song that they performed was "Lost In Love".  This time, I was able to record this performance of the song from start to finish.   I took a video of it using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

The next song that they performed was "Two Less Lonely People In the World".  The crowd really new all the lyrics to this song because they were singing along.   I took a video of it using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

The audience really like this next song, "The One That You Love".  This was a very popular song in the 80s.  The lead singer decided to have the audience sing a couple of verses to this song.    I took a video of it using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

I then took another video of the end of "The One That You Love" using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

The highlight of the night had to be the last song they Air Supply performed, "All Out of Love". This mega ballad dominated the charts back in the 80s.  This song is always played on the radio.  The lead singer was really awesome with the audience.  He was cool enough to go into the audience and meet and greet them.  He got close enough to me that I was able to video him up close.   I took a video of it using my Samsung Galaxy S3.

Overall, Air Supply was great to watch at this year's Epcot Eat to the Beat Concert Series.  I hope Disney brings them back to either play here or Epcot's Flower Power Concert Series that they hold during the Epcot Flower and Garden festival.

  1. To my peers during high school Air Supply was not one of the "cool" groups our age group was suppose to like but secretly they were on of my favorites.
